At TrueKung, our garment trading and production is guided by ethical principles and legal compliance. We have established strict regulations to effectively prevent the exploitation of workers or natural resources during the garment manufacturing process.
We firmly believe that cheerful employees lead to better quality garments, as workers who operate in a beneficial system and safe working environment will be more motivated to deliver excellent products.
Our factory does not employ workers under the age of 16, and we provide the local minimum wage standard as the basic wage. Within a fixed working hours framework, workers are compensated based on a piece-rate system, earning more for increased productivity.
There is no forced labor in our factory, which means no one is compelled to work overtime against their will. If they do work overtime, they will receive additional overtime pay.
The production facilities are equipped with proper lighting and sanitary facilities, and the working conditions and equipment are as safe as possible to prevent work-related injuries.
For example:
Equipment safety: We have formulated equipment usage manuals (such as management measures for special positions like wearing iron gloves and protective masks), provide employee training, and only allow qualified personnel to operate the equipment safely.
Electrical safety: We regularly inspect the electrical facilities and promptly address any issues related to aging electrical equipment.
Fire safety: We place a fire extinguisher every 10 meters in the factory area, regularly organize employee fire safety training, and designate fire safety responsible personnel.
We also collaborate with fabric mills that are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO-TEX 100 certified. These fabrics have been tested and are safe for direct skin contact, and they are manufactured using organic methods.
